The comfort and courage zone
Putting first things first takes courage, and saying no to things gets people out of their comfort zone. People who are risk-takers, getting to point, and people who are realistic are people who get out of their comfort zone and have courage. For the next section, it’ll be talking about the Comfort Zone and the Courage Zone, and examples about it. Let’s start!
|
First, we’ll be talking about the Comfort Zone. The Comfort Zone is the zone where we do things we like to do, are familiar with, relaxing, free of risks, things that we are sure of, things that are safe, and etc. The comfort is the thing that we usually do everyday day. Like doing the same old chores, doing homework, going shopping with our mom, and wearing the same pajamas. Our Comfort Zone represents the things we know how to do and are familiar with. Our Comfort Zone is technically risk-free, and to some people, it is our boundaries. Although our Comfort Zone is so comforting, we all come out of them sometime, and we will have to get out.

Next, we’ll be talking about the Courage Zone. The Courage Zone is the place of ourselves where we do new things like making new friends, speaking in front of a big audience, sticking up for our values, taking risks, answering your teacher in front of the whole class even though you are guessing, wearing the same clothes as someone else, greeting a stranger, living my life without the help of my parents, walking into a classroom while everyone sees you, going to a place I don't know, speaking to a teacher I never met, performing in front of an audience, being the "new kid" at a new school, and etc. (Those things are from my courage zone.) The Courage Zone is the opposite of the Comfort Zone. That’s because the Courage Zone is the place where you are pressuring yourself, and the Comfort Zone is the zone where you are doing things that you are used to and there are literally no pressure in the things you’re doing. The Courage Zone has challenges, risks, and adventure included. This makes us feel uncomfortable, and in this territory, there waits uncertainty, pressure, change, and the possibility of failure. Even though there are feelings we don’t like in the Courage Zone, we’ll have to be in the Courage Zone to succeed. That’s because if you’re always in your Comfort Zone and you never try out anything new, how will you learn? Right? So don’t be afraid and try coming into this territory!

The Comfort and the Courage Zone are the choices we make in life. Being in the Comfort Zone may feel really comfortable, but the Courage Zone makes our life more interesting, and how know? We may discover our unknown talents in the Courage Zone. it could also affect our life in a good way forever! So don’t be scared, and try to be in the Courage Zone territory!
my comfort and courage zone
Some of the things that I am comfortable with are staying at home, playing with friends, sleeping around 10, eating the food that I always eat, tying my hair up in a ponytail, having my brother by my side, my name being "Irene", wearing black, gray, and white clothes, and doing my hobbies.
Making new friends, speaking in front of a big audience, sticking up for our values, taking risks, answering your teacher in front of the whole class even though you are guessing, wearing the same clothes as someone else, greeting a stranger, living my life without the help of my parents, walking into a classroom while everyone sees you, going to a place I don't know, speaking to a teacher I never met, performing in front of an audience, being the "new kid" at a new school
